Welcome. I’m Humaira Ghilzai.
Cultural producer. Playwright. Advisor. Speaker. Storyteller.
I help creators tell authentic, human-centered stories—especially those rooted in Afghan, Muslim, and immigrant experiences. Whether you’re a filmmaker, playwright, educator, or organization, I bring deep cultural insight, lived experience, and creative collaboration to your project.
As a refugee and a lifelong storyteller, I’ve worked across mediums—film, theater, television, and literature—to ensure cultural integrity and creative excellence. From Broadway (The Kite Runner) to the West End, from Little America (Season 2) to grassroots theater and education, my work centers empathy, precision, and real connection. To learn more about my diverse work portfolio, visit my page on Cultural Advisory and Authenticity Consulting.
The world premiere for my play, PILGRIMAGE, is October 25, 2025. Read more about the play and my current projects here.
